 While there’s no doubt that this is a good tank – the high ticket price may be the deciding factor in the outcome of whether or not the Kanger Protank becomes a best seller. While the price is not prohibitive – it’s certainly not at mass market levels (at the moment) but rather a niche high-end product. That said, as with all new products, the patenting and initial marketing costs are reflected in the launch price but after the mould has been made – the clones are much easier…. and of course cheaper. If the Protank comes down by a 3rd in price it will become very popular – and so it should be.
